What CaseArkive is
CaseArkive is a private, image-first case library for surgeons. It is designed to store de-identified surgical cases for personal learning, teaching, board review, and colleague discussion. CaseArkive is not an electronic health record (EHR), not a PACS system, and is not intended to store protected health information (PHI).
De-identified content only
CaseArkive is designed exclusively for de-identified content. Users must not upload any protected health information, patient-identifying data, or content that could be used to identify a specific patient. By using CaseArkive, you agree to only store de-identified surgical case information.
Data we collect
We collect the following information:
- Email address and password (for authentication)
- Case data you create (titles, notes, dates, case numbers)
- Images you upload
- Activity logs (case creation and image upload timestamps)
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the CaseArkive service. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Your cases and images are private and accessible only to your account.
Data security
All data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides row-level security ensuring that each user can only access their own data. Images are stored in private cloud storage. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.
Data ownership and export
You own all content you create in CaseArkive. You can export all your data (cases and images) as a ZIP file at any time from the profile menu. Your data is yours.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Account deletion permanently removes all your cases, images, storage files, activity logs, and authentication record. This action cannot be undone.
Billing
Payments are processed through Stripe. CaseArkive does not store credit card numbers or payment details directly. Billing information is managed securely by Stripe.
